22" O.a.k Ride (2431gr)

€638.00

Serial# :

IMPORTANT: This ride has a small hole in the bell that was drilled there to eliminate a small imperfection that resulted in a micro crack. It also has a small foundry “scab” in the underside around the middle of the bow (as exemplified in the pictures). These blemishes have a minuscule to no chance whatsoever of transforming into problems or cracks in the future. The bell suffer very little elastic deformation during play in comparison to other parts of the body, hence no chance of spreading any crack, specially as the crack was all eliminated. The scab, even though it looks scary in the picture taken with a macro lens, in reality it is only 0.3mm in its deepest area, whilst the cymbal’s thickness rounds between 1.5 to 2.0mm. Meaning, the depth of the blemish is lesser than the thickness difference between the upper bow and the edge (thanks to tapering). It is an insignificant difference that should result in no problems in the future.

O.a.k (One-of-a-kind):

This line of instruments acts as my space for study and unbounded creativity. It is the continuation of my original non-serialized work, meaning, a cymbal line where anything goes.

It will most likely also act as the breeding grounds for any forthcoming new lines and designs as time moves forward, so keep your eyes open, one of these could one day become a regular act.
