22" O.a.k OH Ride (2363gr)
This ride was originally published in August of 2024, but I have since made a little lathing modification on it giving it a bit more brightness and projection, both of which it was lacking, given its original thick patina responsible for an extreme dryness. That’s why you see the “V2” on the video’s title and the new pictures below.
Serial# : QC2483
A special O.a.k that was Over-hammered post lathe and then post patina work once again. The result, a surprisingly dry, dark and complex cymbal with enough volume to carry, thanks to its weight, but enough dynamic range to be discreet. It has 8 rivet holes drilled near the edge, as I initially wanted it to have light rivets, but then I decided against it. Now, if you choose so, you can ask me to send you a baggie with the 8 light rivets so on the box so that you could install them at home and see if you prefer the ride that way.
O.a.k (One-of-a-kind):
This line of instruments acts as my space for study and unbounded creativity. It is the continuation of my original non-serialized work, meaning, a cymbal line where anything goes.
It will most likely also act as the breeding grounds for any forthcoming new lines and designs as time moves forward, so keep your eyes open, one of these could one day become a regular act.
